I've never heard of it, but it sounds something like a text based raduisd server. Very interesting. I have allways thought about how would one go about causeing all macines to look at one authentication server. Without going with a radius server. However, a radius server would be fine, but I never been able to get a paticular machine to look at a radius server the same way it looks at a /etc/password file, and vice versa.
