How to setup Dial-in Server ?

Dear all,   I am using RedHat 7.0 and want to set-up a Dial-in (PPP) Server.  Also, I am using USR Extenal Modem which is connected to COM1.  Do you mind to teach me know how I can do it because I am new using linux?  I am try to use mgetty and search the set-up method from internet but it can't help and I was spend 2 days on that but still don't work at all.  So, please help me to solve this problem.  Thanks a lot !
