I have rh 6.2 box to that I just installed the new updated rpm-4 packages.
Before upgrading I installed db-3 packages and ran 'rpm --rebuilddb'.

Now I've encountered a strange problem:

--snip--
[root@mail /root]# rpm -qf /usr/bin/ssh
ssh-clients-1.2.27-5i
[root@mail /root]# rpm -e ssh-clients-1.2.27-5i
error: package ssh-clients-1.2.27-5i is not installed
--snip--

What's going on?

I know that I have ssh installed and running, as I'm using it at the moment. I
want to uninstall it to be able to install openssh instead.

The rpm db is corrupted or something? How do I fix it?

Regards,
Peter
