the man for chmod clearly says it is for changing
permissions to files.
WHAT ABOUT DIRECTORY ??
i have been trying to change for /home directory and
it just does not work. the /home directory presently
has permissions read and execute for all. i want to
give it write as well.
chmod is just not working. what wrong am i doing ??
