Netscape has an annoying habit of trying to resolve some netscape.com
addresses when it starts, just to verify that it has a network
connection, or because it's lonely, or who knows. And it will freeze
completely until it finds what it's looking for, or times out. Maybe
look for something related to name resolution ... BIND update, change
in /etc/resolv.conf, something like that ... or better yet, switch to
Opera. =)
