Aaagh!!! Sorry, Thomas. Here in Canada, we do not have metered internet
access so a big download is not of much importance...just leave it
downloading overnight and pick things up in the morning ;) Yes, the
helix-gnome stuff is huge; but it is well worth the download. Perhaps your
original problem is related to some part of the underlying gnome libs; or
glib; or gtk...all of which will be updated with the helix-gnome install.
