lynx was hanging ... IIRC it didn't react to any key ... it must have been
happening when I closed the phone line *before* lynx was finishing a
download I told it to do ( perhaps my own fault ...OK ... :) ..)
IIRC I was trying first with 'Z' to stop the download ... the whole thing
wasn't a real problem then ... when nothing works anymore I simply close
the xterm and then check 'top' whether the process is still running or
not.
I don't think this problem with lynx was happening very often ...
