Windblows wants to be on the FIRST partition of your hard drive. The
solution is to partition with Linux, leaving about the first 10 megs
unpartitioned, then make a Windows partition and install Windows.
Then, go back and install linux.
Or, use something like partition magic to squeeze 10 megs out of the
head of your Windows drive for your /boot partition, then install
linux. :-)
