Because of the problem I encountered installing Linux trying to make mounting
point /win to the second
FAT32 partition, I ended up converting my third FAT32 into FAT16 and it reads
perfectly making a perfect sharing partition between Win98 and Linux. Only
annoying problem is when I use Gnome file manager to transfer files TO /win
then it keeps popping up dialog box saying 'cannot chown' blah blah. I figured
it out that in the 'copy' dialog box you would need to select 'advanced' and
deselect 'preserve attributes' then it would copy files without attempting to
'chown'.
