It all depends on who you are getting the DSL from. I know Ameritech uses
an ATM card in the computer, and it doesn't get along with Linux from what
I understand. Not all DSL "modems" connect up with ethernet unfortunately.
Then you have people like Telocity, that have a box that will do ethernet,
USB, or a parallel connection. "They are even Linux friendly!"
