I've not been able to get the CE3B-100 to work with Linux either, but an
older, 10Mbps Xircom CEM-28 card works fine.

They system loads the right modules, and it should work... but, no.

%-> Hi guys,
%->
%-> I just installed Red Hat 6.1 on a IBM Thinkpad 390X. The install went
%-> perfectly. However, I am unable to anything network related. The card
%-> I have is a Xircom pcmcia CE3B-100BTX. The cardmanager sees it and
%-> loads the modules for it. That's it. No matter what IP I assign it, I
%-> get nothing, no blinking lights, nothing. I have even tried using dhcp
%-> and still got nothing.
%->
%-> In windows it works perfectly though.
%->
%-> I have rechecked my cabling, tried different IRQ's, after going over
%-> this with several of my coworkers. I am close to giving up.
