I ran one of those until I got my VooDoo 3000. Here are the important sections
from my XF86Config file:

# Device configured by Xconfigurator:

Section "Device"
    Identifier "ATI|Rage 128 GL AGP 1x/2x"
    VendorName "ATI"
    BoardName "Rage 128/AGP"
    VideoRam 16384
    # Insert Clocks lines here if appropriate
EndSection

# The accelerated servers (S3, Mach32, Mach8, 8514, P9000, AGX, W32, Mach64
# I128, and S3V)
Section "Screen"
    Driver "svga"
    Device "ATI|Rage 128 GL AGP 1x/2x"
    Monitor "You Monitor Goes Here"
    Subsection "Display"
        Depth 32
          Modes "1280x1024"
        ViewPort 0 0
    EndSubsection
EndSection
