This bit me. We had changed the boot order to try the CD first in order
to boot off the RedHat CD. So, the reboot for the live system reboots the
machine, which then does a from-power-up sequence, and finds the CD first,
and starts the install.

If this is the cause here, yank the CD out and try thr final reboot again.
And then fix up the boot order to prefer the disc drive.
