I'm about to attempt to set up a home network with a 66 MHz Pentium running
RH6.0 and connecting to a 450 MHz PII W98 machine.
Could anyone advise whether the following network cards would be suitable ?
- TMC 8bit ISA network interface cards (NIC's) -
Also, will I need some sort of hub or network router if I want to connect
another machine ?
If anyone can point me at a suitable reference or book which deals with the
hardware requirements I'd be grateful as my questions are pretty basic at
this stage. I'm looking forward to trying out John Moore's 'How to configure
a Home network' HOWTO.
