Two options:-

1. Actually change the CMOS time to match the UTC time.
                You can set the CMOS clock to match the system clock 
                with "hwclock --systohc --utc".

2. Tell Linux the CMOS clock is local time.
                In /etc/sysconfig/clock, change "UTC=true" to "UTC=false".
                You can set the CMOS clock to sytem-clock-adjusted-for-local-time
                with "hwclock --systohc".

Personally, I think that (1) is far better, but then I don't have to
run Windows 95.
