Telnet for root is a horrible idea and an extremely bad security
practice (not to mention that I don't think you *can* do it!). Here's
how I do it...
telnet yourhost
login as user
userpass
su -
rootpass

Two out of three ain't bad. What do you mean it doesn't work. Does
