Greetings.
After upgrading last night to the latest glibc (from the one that came
with RH 5.0), I see that launching Communicator on my KDE b3 completely
locks X11 up tight. Has anyone else had this problem? What is new in the
latest glibc that would screw up Netscape? The thing is such a beast to
download that I'd like to know if there's a workaround besides getting
4.05 (which seems rife with bugs, no?).
I've been using the 4.04 downloadable from Netscape's site without
problems since December. Should I spend all of that time downloading
other versions of it to try, or just downgrade the the earlier glibc? I
just upgraded to stay current. I don't have a static connection to the
Net, so security shouldn't be a problem on this, my home system?
TIA,
Jeff
