Having done work for the Air Force I find the first two messages to have
been more accurate, even with the emotion attached. The Air Force never
finishes a product right or on time, yet promotions come as a result of
what anyone in the commercial sector would deem a failure. In my
experience with the Air Force, in some of its most "advanced" stuff, I
have found that they have mostly Cybers and VMS running. I have never
noticed on a large scale that the Air Force has ever accepted Unix.

Orange Book security is largely a joke. No OS that is current is ever
really certified. By the time the certification process is done the OS
has passed in its usefulness. There are several MLS OS's that have
applied for Orange Book B1 and I think only five have ever made it.
