Actually I already have that in there (/etc/resolv.conf of my dns server and all my other unix servers).. should have probably mentioned that.. I have tried both search chamkila.org and domain chamkila.org.. but I am still unable to do a nslookup with just the computer name and have to have the full enermax.chamkila.org in order to do a lookup. Do my windows boxes have to be in a domain (chamkila.org) in order for it to work with just the computer name or is that incorrect? Because it is working fine on all my unix boxes that have search chamkila.org in their /etc/resolv.conf and my dns server as their nameserver..
