*** Postfix seems to be the "other" standard. I haven't come around to acrtually using it as my sendmail setup works Ok and I got to understand it by now. Another argument for sendmail is it being a defacto standard in the *nix world. Any unice flavour has sendmail. However, it's a pig, some admin's are fed up with its security issue's and the sendmail.cf file has been compared in the past with modem noise... It's old but still going strong.
