Robert,

Are you talking about running JNOS on Linux? I thought development of
that stopped about 6 years ago but I suppose someone might have picked
it up by now. When Alan Cox hacked all of the ax.25 stuff into the
kernel, JNOS became redundant.

I know James (n5knx), the (former?) maintainer of the DOS version, had
looked at updating the Linux version of JNOS with the changes he was
making to the DOS version and came to the same conclusion I did, "Why
run a TCP/IP stack emulator on top of a system with a real TCP/IP
stack?" So he stuck with just the DOS version. 

I haven't talked to James lately, but I see on his ftp server that
he hasn't updated JNOS for DOS in a couple years. I don't know if he
handed off to someone else or if the project just died.
