What i also notice is you want to do a lot of stuff right away before even getting familiar with the basics. I also don't have the impression you've been reading enough on the subjects you want to tackle. My advice to you would be to go on paying your ISP and dive into some HOWTO's, man pages and subscribe to relevant lists. Running a web and mail server implies a bit more than just opening port 80 & 25. What about security issues, keeping up2date with patches, backup procedures, a firewall, spam issues...? You know what happens when you find out - too late - your mail server is an open relay or your web server got cracked and is serving porn pages instead...? My $0,02... -- Cheers, Zoran.
