My pipes screensver mystery is solved. First I began by using xlockmore
instead of xlockmore-GL. Second, after I installed xlockmore-GL, I was
looking for a file called /usr/X11R6/bin/pipes - like the other screensavers,
but this file does not exist. So I have had pipes for the last few
iterations and didn't know it. In spite of not having the pipes file that
I expected to have, xlock -mode pipes works like a charm. Pipes without
Microsoft - ain't it cool?
Have a good day!
