Hrmm? You don't change the console font in your XFree86 config. Open a Konsole window, and click settings->font->custom Mine shows monospace regular 10 This is Red Hat 8.0, (KDE 3.03) it should be similar in other releases. Using a variable width font will give output similar to your report.
