This is a plain 200Mhz MMX computer with EIDE harddisk and CDROM and a PCI
SMC 10/100 Etherpower Network card. No modems, no soundcards.
RH 4.2 out-of-the-box (all packages) runs Bind-4.9.6 with no problems.
RH 5.0 out-of-the-box (all packages) runs Bind-4.9.6 only for about 2 days.
Thanks for the response, but I already have spent too much time and as it
runs stable on 4.2 I will leave it there and not bother with 5.0 anymore.
Greetings
Serge
