I've recently installed RH5.0 and mostly things are working really well,
though I have just discovered an annoying problem.
man -k and apropos always return "command: nothing appropriate" where
'command' is the command or search term I wanted information on. It
doesn't matter what the command is, the response is the same. I know
the man pages are installed for all of the commands that I'm looking
for. It behaves the same way from root or as a user.
Anybody know what's going on and more importantly how to fix it? I'm
new to Linux, so I don't even know where to start to track down the
problem.
Thanks...
