All the hardware seems to be ok. (except the udma won't be supported until
2.0.34, to be released shortly) What media are you installing from? Is
this a registered copy?

Perhaps try installing a minimal system first.  Try resetting the BIOS
settings to the default.

What kind of errors exactly?

This sounds like one of the packages were corrupt.  Again, try installing
only the basic system first, then work from there.
