Hi All,
Just a quick one (hopefully)... trying to configure diald on a
RH4.2 system with Kernel 2.0.34. The modem is one /dev/ttyS1, and I know
it works because I can get it connect to the net..
The problem is, when ever I try to invoke diald, with a bare bones
diald.conf, it gives the error message:
diald[271]: Specified device '/dev/ttyS1' not a character device.
diald[271]: Terminating due to damaged reconfigure.
Has anyone seen this and know how to fix it??
