That's even more broken. RH 3.0.1 is 3.0.1 plus some fixes, but it's still way more broken than 2.96. You can try 3.0.1 (preferrably the version that comes with 7.2) - it works ok for most things, but will miscompile some. 2.96 is the preferred compiler; the only drawback is that it's using an older libstdc++ (which should work just fine, though).
