It's known broken for several things (multiple inheritance issues in C++, 
causing it to miscompile e.g. KDE), and it's not binary compatible with 
our default compiler.

If pgm isn't C++ or you've installed all the compat packages, yes (unless 
it's C++ and tries to link to a C++ library other than libstdc++).
