hi all,
I'm trying to build a 2.4.3 kernel that'll have isdn support built into it.
I've got a RH 7.0 system and I downloaded the latest 2.4 kernel source and
unpacked it into /usr/local/src.

The kernel and associated modules seem to build o.k and in fact I did build a
kernel hat recognised my isdn card. At this point I made the mistake of trying
to rebuild the kernel again as I'd forgotten to build in the standard ppp
support.

The problem is that when the system boots up with the new kernel it starts
uncompressing it and then generates an error saying that it was our of data -
and halts the system.

Anyone seen this before?

Any help appreciated
alex
