It's documented as working on RHL 7.0 (I checked before posting). If you want it and 
it doesn't work, bugzilla it.

I must confess, when I first saw it (3.0.3 probably) , I thought it a dreadful hack 
and had my doubts about it. However, presumably it works, at least in some cases.

I thought Samba did it too, but I couldn't find it in the docs.
