Here are my 2 cents concerning the vacation program I had on
linux last august and how I solved it.
1) sendmail using a restricted shell you have to add explicitely
the vacation program in that restricted shell:
ln -s /usr/bin/vacation /etc/smrsh/
2) the vacation program I used then was buggy. That was version
vacation-1.2.0-1.i386.rpm from redhat 6.2.
In one of the patches in the source, there is a unauthorized
vfork. That's all.
I can send you the rpm that corrects this but I don't have the source.
