Um.
Emacs' UI is high quality to the extent that it is unified.
But only emacs lovers could say (with a straight face) that C-x M-x
C-i C-c C-c is an interface created with users in mind (I always
thought it was designed by orthopedic surgeons seeking to insure a
steady flow of patients...) :-)
(Please note that I'm not claiming lynx is an award winner in this
area either)
