Good word, describes a problem I have.

Two systems; first has SiS 5597/5598, I used the onboard video. Monitor is a
5yo Sampo Alphascan 15gx. We blamed the monitor;-) It's been doing something
else odd, on two different cards, & on reflection, on two different operating
systems. The image size changes sometimes; not often, and I certainly don't
want to try to fix THAT by configuration change.

Second has SiS530 AGPset, Sony Multiscan 15 SFII. Monitor's fairly old, but
it's fine on another box, so I began to think SiS isn't such a good choice yet.

If this is fixable by configuration, what do I do?

Note; the problem's complicated by the fact it comes & goes.
