Well, start with Linux-Advocacy HOWTO.
news://comp.os.linux.advocacy may be good too, though a little
traffic-heavy.
Also there's a nice article at http://www.unix-vs-nt.org or smth like
that.
And as for Novell/OS2 the answer is clear: not them, because they're
heading towards dead ends. Even if Novell is the best fileserver OS ever.
