Hi,
After upgraded the kernel (Redhat linux) from 2.2.12 to 2.2.14 and
make and installed the modules, I see no module-info-2.2.14 was created.
Since there was a file /boot/module-info-2.2.12-20 and /boot/module-info
is pointed to it, I figure, after the upgrade, module-info should re point to
a new file called module-info-2.2.14-*.
Can anyone tell me where is this file or how can I create one?
I also wonder what is it used for. The system still works fine even
module-info still points to the old module-info-2.2.12-20. And it seems
that, in Debian, there is no such file at all.
