Right - but some things definitely make sense to have even on a 386.

If you need some of 6.2's new features, IMO the best way to go is to
install 6.0 (because it has a much faster installer), then get the 6.2
RPMs and doing

rpm -Fvh /mnt/cdrom/RedHat/RPMS/*
