There needs to be a checklist presented to root of things that Must Be 
Done Now.

Each of these servers should add to it.

In the case of upgrades, services previously enabled should remain enabled 
with their existing configurations unless that would be harmful.

That last item might be a showstopper; judging from the hits I took when I 
announced lsof for RHL 4.2, there are a lot of people who would not like 
this.
