No but I built some hundreds for Independence despite my limited time
and bandwidth.  I was speaking of people who rebuild a package because
they prefer to download the SRPM in case it needs fixing, not of
people building entire distributions with a differnt compiler.  By the
way if you need automatic replacements that is what sed was made for.
