Hi all
My apologies for the unconvenience, but I recently
downloaded the JDK1.1.7, which needs at least
glibc version 2.0.7-7 for running.
I actually have the RedHat5.0 distro.
The only glibc libs I found in /old_releases/ directory
of the sunsite.unc.edu ftp site was the 2.0.7-13 version.
After downloading glibc, glibc-debug and glibc-devel,
then installing these, I found the glibc-devel-2.0.7-13.i386.rpm
was fitted with time, checknumber errors, and moreover couldn't
be installed (multiple errors, etc.). The other libs installed
fine.
