I've got a few unpartitioned MO disks; they got that way when IBM's MO
support was in development, and the Fujitsu driver goes for the
superfloppy format (no partitions).
I think unpartitioned is a perfectly reasonable way to go with removable
media; I see no point to partitioning 100 Mb Zip disks. I only partition
my 640 Mbyte disks for fear something will break if I don't.
