it actually was 3.3.4 that the worked right off the bat, not 3.3.3.4.
it said it was falling back to vga16 server. but it still did not work
and gave termination signals. im using the text mode to install it
right now. it seems to be going just fine. although i did find a bug
with the fs mountpoints. i try to mount hda1 at /win(windows partition)
and the rest just as normal. then when it tries to format the other
partitions it says that it cannot find an ext2 fs on hda1 and stops
formatting all of the partitions(which is just one other partition
except the swap) and then installs over any old files that i have
instead of formatting them?
