I agree that it is a very difficult decision when it's time. I had to make that decision with my 5th dog Rena who was at that time the best dog I ever had. She was the only one I have ever kept after retirement. If Mike didn't have a dog we probably would have kept my dog Ross or his dog Ira but 4 large dogs in a single trailer just doesn't quite cut it. The retired boys now live with Mike's uncle. The have 3 dogs and 5 cats in a single trailer and I think they are nuts, but it's their problem. They thought about taking Ivy but thankfully for Ivy couldn't afford it and it would be too crowded. Ivy is happy in her new home with 2 children and a cat to chase.
