ENGLISH MUFFIN LOAVES FOR KITCHENAID MIXER
2 cups milk 1/2 cup water 5 cups all-purpose flour 2 packages active dry yeast 1 tablespoon sugar 2 teaspoons salt 1/4 teaspoon baking soda cornmeal Combine milk and water in a microwave-safe dish and heat until liquids are in the temperature range of 120 to 130-degrees. This will vary depending on the wattage of your microwave, so start with one minute, then check the temperature. If it gets too hot, put the dish is a tray of cool water and watch the thermometer. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes.
