MessageOld home remedies used to tell you to use some kind of oil on a burn,
but first aid says to first run it under cold water to cool the area.....
applying ice would be too cool too fast, but not a bad idea.

An ice cube works. I'd think olive oil would make it worse. A friend of mine
told me to rub baking soada, don't mix it with water. I have tried it and it
works as long as you apply it immediately. A friend of hers told her about it
when she burned herself from her baby's bottle, back when they were heted on
the stove.

I apply virgin olive oil to a burn, oil should be applied frequently; pain
diminishes and no blister, Don

Prevent a blister from a burn

Have you burned yourself? An ice cube applied to the burn will stop it
from blistering.

A single candle can illuminate an entire room. A true friend lights up
an entire lifetime. Thanks for the bright lights of your friendship.
