APPLE SURPRISE 1 can apple pie slices 1 box 1-layer cake mix (Jiffy) 1 stick butter, melted 1 c. pecan pieces Grease 9 inch square pan, layer bottom with apples. Sprinkle cake mix on top of slices, pour melted butter over mix. Top with pecans. Bake 15 minutes at 300 degrees, then 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
