SCRATCH POUND CAKE
Cream: 3 c. sugar 6 egg yolks, 1 at a time Sift 3 cups flour 3 times. Mix with: 1 tsp. salt Add alternately with: 2 tsp. lemon extract Fold in 6 beaten egg whites. Bake at 350 degrees until done.
