I was going to agree and say going to lithium battery is actually a big boost in efficiency due to the high weight reduction.

Scott direct mounted the 60-cell module and used the Genesun controller that is a boosting controller.

I also did a similar project and I mounted the leftover 60-cell module to the roof with IronRidge XR10 rail to give a bit more compliance over bumpy trails. I also used the Genesun controller.



I love the Vatrer 36V battery, You can get a 48V (51.2V) version as well…

There are other brands of great batteries that drop in… especially if you have a SawzAll.
