Hello Jason, I have had success with the cheap, variable power supplies on Amazon. Its nice to be able to adjust output voltage from 0-60V for the various battery bank voltages we encounter. You have to build your own cord but they are small and easy to have on the truck. They are slow but typically, this isn't a big deal if you are just trying to get it above the BMS cut out voltage. There is very little actual charge from <40V to 48V, then you can engage the power system to do the heavy charging. I like to be able to apply charge to the cell directly if there is one that is problematic if there is access to the cell level.
Just remember that you probably want a power supply that doesn't require a battery to wake up. It's hard to have all of the tools, dongles, apps etc that we need on a service call these days!
